Re: NYC LEGOfest - Saturday, February 5th

(...) Just one LITTLE condition. So, what part of the trade are you in? I plan to see the "parade" again this year. There's nothing quite like a 100- segment bug getting out of a limousine right in front of you. The web site is (URL) looks like Lego (...) (27 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: Good places to buy?

In Manhattan, things are generally 10% higher. You've got TRU (34th St, 14th St.) Also at 14th St (Union Square) there is a Bradlee's right by TRU that now charges normal prices (plus 8.125 tax.) Bradlee's has many one-day sales with 20% off Lego, (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

Re: NYC LEGOfest - Saturday, February 5th

Hello, all! I'm a fairly new LUGNETter, but I've been a Lego fan all my life (though my recent interest in it is due to the Star Wars sets.) I've been hanging around the Star Wars section of LUGNET but only just now came across any New Yorkers. The (...) (27 years ago, 17-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Good places to buy?

I just moved back to the City and I was wondering if there were any "good" places around here for buying Lego stuff. The standard TRU, etc, are more expensive than the ones in the DC area. So - any tips on where to find good prices in NYC? Josh (27 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

I'm going to have to decline for the 5th. I have family obligations. :-( -Mike Lunny (...) (27 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

NYC LEGOfest - Saturday, February 5th

The NYC LEGO Fest is on for Saturday February 5th at my apartment in Staten Island (easy commute via public transportation from all 5 boroughs as well as an easy drive from NJ, LI and beyond). If you are interested in attending, please let me know. (...) (27 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny, lugnet.loc.us.nj, lugnet.loc.us.ny)

(...) Again, I'm probably out for the 29th--I have to be in Toronto. But if that falls through, I'm there! best, Lindsay (27 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.loc.us.nj)

(...) Still Interested for Jan 29th. As Erik stated I'm trying to work with the RIS 1.0 and NQC. I'm having issues with the basic Tracker.nqc but they are probably due to environment: line size and color. Mike Lunny (27 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.loc.us.nj)

Re: Call for New Jersey/New York Lego fans!

(...) Arrrgh! That's the weekend my girlfriend and I are going to Toronto for a housewarming party. I'd opt out, but since the person we're visiting is also an old significant-other of hers, I really don't want to have her go there *and* be sore at (...)
