Re: Manhattan meet: Wednesday September 12

Re: Manhattan meet: Wednesday September 12

Another reminder, the "Manhattan 3" proposed another meeting Wednesday Sep. 12 at the CItigroup Center location. All are welcome. Arrive by 4-5-6 or E-F trains to 51st/Lexington (or walk down from N-R at 59th/Lex.) The plaza is above (...) (25 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.org.us.gardenslug)

  Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

Mark, Thanks! I tried a Galactica once, perhaps it's time to revisit. There are other Star Trek ships on my website, (URL) As for The Weakest Link--I'm sorry you had to see that pitiful performance! Wish I'd gotten a Lego question!!! :) onedaycnn (...) (25 years ago, 29-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

Once again, Sid Mark, great Trek moc! (Yeah, I think it looks like an Akira-Prise too.... in fact, since your nacelles appear to be on click hinges, all you'd have to do is angle them downward instead of up, and you could claim an Akira class moc as (...)   Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

(...) Absolutely incredible! Great model, I especially like the bridge, the way you did the saucer curve, and the creative use of the blue Lego train rails. When I first saw this on brickshelf, I loved the model, but thought it was an Akira class (...) (25 years ago, 25-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

(...) Sorry about going acronym on ya there, not very helpful I know. FUT = "Follow-Up To". When you made your original post, you set it up like this: Newsgroups: lugnet.announce Follow-up: lugnet.build,lugnet....c.us.ny.ny The problem with this is (...)   Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

Kyle, Thanks! Yes, that is a lot of plates. It took a good salvaging operation to get all of the light greys, but I did it! As for lights--I've got a lot of them, but that'll be a tough job! :D As for FUT groups: What are they? Sorry to be so (...)   Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

(...) That's a great model. I've never seen so many tiles in one place before! ;] You gotta add some lights to it next! (BTW, just a little posting tip: when making a post with follow-ups set, be sure to include all of the FUT groups in the post-to (...)   Re: MOC: Akira-prise, NX-01

(...) Very nice rendition of the Akira-prise. I have been wanting to do some ships from Star Trek in that scale. Do you know hard it is to make a Defiant? :D Rick (25 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

(...) Thanks Lindsay! It's always hard to make a round primary hull--but a secondary hull is even tougher. Not to mention the warp nacelles. That's why I haven't built an NCC-1701. The NX-01 wasn't easier, but it *was* less difficult. BTW, are you a (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)
