Sorry about going acronym on ya there, not very helpful I know.
FUT = "Follow-Up To".
When you made your original post, you set it up like this:
Newsgroups:
lugnet.announce
Follow-up:
lugnet.build,lugnet.space,lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny
The problem with this is that the original message never
appears in those follow-up groups. It only appears in
lugnet.announce. Thus anybody reading lugnet.space, for
example, never sees the original message unless they
happened to look at lugnet.announce. So the thread
appearing in the follow-up groups is "decapitated"---the
original message is missing.
So instead, set it up like this:
Newsgroups:
lugnet.announce,lugnet.build,lugnet.space,lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny
Follow-up:
lugnet.build,lugnet.space,lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny
This way the original message also appears in all follow-up
groups. As another example, I've set the follow-up on this
message to lugnet.admin.general. Note I've also cross-posted
to there as well so that this message (not just replies to
this message) appears there.

| Kyle, Thanks! Yes, that is a lot of plates. It took a good salvaging operation to get all of the light greys, but I did it! As for lights--I've got a lot of them, but that'll be a tough job! :D As for FUT groups: What are they? Sorry to be so (...)
