Mike Walsh wrote in message ... (...) some (...) this (...) Cool. I like the idea of highlighting that Lego trains may be one of the best intergenerational ways to model trains. Very serious models, and quick toy constructions (specifically not (...)   Re: Train Club Forming

Sorry for the delayed response on this topic. I think NCLTC is a good name for a potential club. I also may have scared up a couple more recruits for this effort. One of my co-workers son has a some LEGO train (4559, 4554, and a couple other sets) (...)   Re: Train Club Forming

(...) Ok, lets rock and roll! Do we need to also decide on a size for the application? We probably need to sort of divy out modules etc. We should probably try and schedule a meeting sometime to start building the modules. Does anyone have space to (...) (...) Well, it's been a few days... I guess I'll put in the application for the train show as NCLTC unless anyone has any objections. We can always change the name later.   Re: Train Club Forming

(...) Let's give it another day or two, and then decide. If there is no current opposition from people in Charlotte, I'm reasonably game for NCLTC, otherwise I agree, RDULTC works.   Re: Train Club Forming

(...) I like NCLTC in case our friends in Charlotte (or wherever else) decide to join us. But if not, then I vote for RDULTC since that's the name of the airport. We should decide soon so we can put in our application for the train show. Several folks in the greater Raleigh area are discussing forming a Lego Train Club. This is an invitation to join in the discussion, and comment on names.   is anybody out there?

Hi guys! I was kind of hoping to hear from other people in Charlotte or the vicinity who are into Lego. I would love to have some e-mail folks to trade parts and build ideas with. Hi guys My name is Skip and I am addicted to Lego. I am 33 and I fought it since I entered high school but I surrendered last year and started buying sets again.
