Sorry for the delayed response on this topic.
I think NCLTC is a good name for a potential club. I also may have scared
up a couple more recruits for this effort. One of my co-workers son has a
some LEGO train (4559, 4554, and a couple other sets) and has expressed some
interest in being involved in the show. For him it would be a father son
effort. I have another former co-worker who may also be interested but I
need to speak with him. He would also be in the same boat, that is, his
participation would also be a father-son team. Both of the boys are about
10 years old and LEGO fanatics. There is no way I could be involved in this
without my sons effort (he is four) so that would make at least three
father-son teams.
As far as space to set up a layout, I probably have it in my house and
certainly have it in my garage, but we would have to set up and take down
the layout as I couldn't leave it up for any length of time. I'll get back
to you all on the availability of my house for a staging area.
