I happened to wander into a the Toy Works Store in Keene today and found plenty of the SW sets on the shelves. I only bought a Land Speeder, as I am a little short of money. But after my purchase there was still 1 Land speeder, 3 Speeder Bikes, 4 X (...) (26 years ago, 31-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.loc.us.nh.man, lugnet.starwars)

We have a Super KMart, but every time I look there, the Lego shelf space seems to be shrinking. That leaves really only Wal-Mart and (...) I won't bore everyone with all the details of how I went to WalMart hoping they'd have the Shanghai Surprise set in, and was dissappointed. I won't even go into how I looked up onto the overstock and got an incredible surprise at seeing the LEGO (...) I **DO** have about 8 9V creations with me, mostly stuff that has been seen on the pages, but did include my latest SW unit. I also have the frog game with me. I hadn't seen any announcements to this effect on the groups, so here it is: as near as I can tell, the retail chain of Caldors (New England area) is either going completely out of business or closing all of their stores in the Boston area.
