Re: Gobble Gobble! meeting? was: Re: Boo! meeting?

Actually, I've been meaning to ask (and this seems like an appropriate time): I live fairly close to the MA/RI boarder. Are there any people in the area who'd like to get together sometime? I wouldn't mind trying that at some point. I like the (...) (...) I would just like to throw in my 2 cents and say that I would be real excited if folks wanted to have NELUG meetings in other parts of New England. We have a very well established group in the Greater Boston Area that keeps our general meeting (...)   Re: My Display & MOCs -Finally Online!

(...) Thanks! I think it is my favorite of those I've made too. A number of friends have pointed out different things they liked about it. The most unexpected comment, perhaps, was one that thought the most realistic part was the bits of crumbling (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.loc.us.ma)

Re: My Display & MOCs -Finally Online!

(...) Thanks. The real tragedy is that a few months after I built the model, it was torn apart to rebuild my Town. Thusly, except for the memories of my high school classmates, those pics are the only evidence of how it looked... =o -Hendo (25 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.ma)

(...) I like the globe theater. Very nice design. It's a shame you don't have a picture of the rear, it sounds very interesting. You town layout looks great. I'm sure it gets many an ooh and ahh, when people see it. -Jason (URL) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ma)

Re: My Display & MOCs -Finally Online!

I totally love the Bannenware tower/keep, it has the distinct look of continental European late medieval architecture. Is it modelled on a real castle? I've never really built much in that style, my castles tend to be more block like, and much wider (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ma)

(...) Hendo, Nice castles, I'd love to see more details. The Globe Theater was great, too. And I liked the pics of the mini-fest. Thanks, George (25 years ago, 11-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ma)

  Checking in from Western Mass

Not returning to Gordon in the fall

Hi everyone - I've talked to a couple of you in private, but now all my plans are settled. I won't be returning to Gordon College in the fall for multiple reasons. I will definitely be there, possibly both days (once with my sittees, once without (1)). I would love to get together with whoever shows up, and it *would* make more sense to arrange this.
