  Where are all the Lego?

I just went to TRU near Alewife on Wednesday and was dismayed at what I saw. 1.) First of all it looks like they've scaled back the Lego section by about 20%. 2.) The Life on Mars sets are all gone and have been replaced by the Moviemaker sets. I'm (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ma)

In other words - if your want white letters on a black background print the black background and let the white brick show through the clear letters. I don't want to rekindle an old argument, or to start something I can't finish, but... Pshaw!   Re: NELUG Train Show Pictures

I'd say you guys did a great job for your first train show! I loved the buildings and liberal use of tiles. The only thing that bothered me was the unofficial stickers. They were nicely done, but by forcing yourselves to use just the brick (...) (25 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general)

I'm not to into Lego trains (yet), so I cant really comment on them. The buildings, however, are fantastic. Love the architechture & set up. One thing I have noticed with *these* train show pictures (as well as pix from other shows) is that the (...)   Re: NELUG participates in December 2nd and 3rd Greenberg Show.

(...) Well I can think of a couple reasons why we went with 4 wide tables (40.25"x40.25"). 1. It was more economical. If we were to do 3bp x 6bp you only get one table out of a 4'x8' sheet. This way you get 2 tables per sheet. 2. We liked the (...) (25 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.us.ma)
