  NELUG Meeting: 1-10-2000

Ok, I either missed someone announcing this, or no one has, so I will (I hope I didn't leave out any of the .loc groups Eric Kingsley usually includes...). NELUG will have it's first meeting of the new century on Monday, January 10th, 2000. If our (...) (...) Or whatever. :) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.loc.us.nh, lugnet.loc.us.me, lugnet.loc.us.ct, lugnet.loc.us.vt, lugnet.loc.us.ri)

  Re: NELUG Meeting: 1-10-2000

(...) Yes, I did specifically avoid saying "millenium". It is definitely a new century. I Suppose I could have said "NELUG's first meeting of the new month", but that sounds really really unimpressive. ;) eric (24 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.loc.us.nh, lugnet.loc.us.me, lugnet.loc.us.ct, lugnet.loc.us.vt, lugnet.loc.us.ri)

  Re: NELUG Meeting: 1-10-2000

(...) It's no more, or less, a new century than it is a new millennium. Note carefully I take no position on the main questions (1), but do assert logical equivalence. As to how to spell my name, it's(2) not that hard. After all, I figured it out by (...)   Re: NELUG Meeting: 1-10-2000

(...) Hey, even I've learned how to spell it, though I've had lots of practice recently :-) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.loc.us.nh, lugnet.loc.us.me, lugnet.loc.us.ct, lugnet.loc.us.vt, lugnet.loc.us.ri)

  Re: NELUG Meeting: 1-10-2000

(...) You're right. I'm usually very anal about that one, to the point of writing "it is" instead of "it's" 90% of the time so as not to blow it. If I realised I'd typed it, I'd have changed it. eric (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.loc.us.nh, lugnet.loc.us.me, lugnet.loc.us.ct, lugnet.loc.us.vt, lugnet.loc.us.ri)

  Re: NELUG Meeting: 1-10-2000

(...) So...'ow late are you blokes likely to be there? I have an appointment in Framingham at 7:30pm and I'm not sure how long it will take, but I *would* like to actually make it to a LUGNET meeting one of these days...even if it would jeopardize (...)   Re: NELUG Meeting: 1-10-2000

(...) First meeting of the new year is both accurate (by anybody's count) and more impressive than 'month'... As for spelling Larry P.'s name - this is why they invented cut and paste, young Jedi... J, too lazy to cut'n'paste hisself, tho (24 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma)

  Re: NELUG Meeting: 1-10-2000

(...) 10th, (...) If you see this... We tend to hang around for a while, and I can only imagine that the presence of a bar will make the meeting last even longer. :D eric (24 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: NELUG Meeting: 1-10-2000

(...) It was still going strong when I left and I want to say thanks to everyone, it was great meeting a few new folks, and I had a blast, although picking the corner may not have been wisest, I got to hear fragmetns of two conversations at once!
