  NGLTC Festival of Trees first place winners!
 
After a great effort by NGLTC club members and non club members our tree display for the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Festival of trees was put on display this week. This evening at the preview party we were presented with a surprise, our (...) Looks like this past weekend was a busy one for LTCs and LUGs, well not to be left out the North Georgia LEGO Train club presented a layout at the Atlanta Greenberg Toy & Train show. I visited the store last weekend. The selection is not very good. (Lego would not give Linda what she wanted to open the store with). The prices are good though. Most items are 40-50% off. Well that's even better. I know Linda (manager) had told me last week that she wanted to come help us with the Children's hospital this weekend but she couldn't since she had to set up the store. This month LEGO is opening a second outlet here in the Atlanta area at the new Discover Mills mall ((URL) opening is Nov. 2 but I (...) As an update to the NGLTC display at the Festival of Trees; Eric Harshberger has generously donated a holiday themed sculpture to be included in the auction. Just wanted to let you know that the North Georgia LEGO Train Club (NGLTC) will be presenting at the NMRA - Piedmont Division Model Train show this coming weekend (March 10-11) at the Cobb County Civic Center.
