I've called all of the Best Buy stores in the Bay Area, and a couple in Pennsylvania in the hopes that my brother-in-law could pick it up for me. But all of them are all sold out of Lego Mindstorms. My local Target (Mountain View) still has many Lego sets on 30%-off clearance. But be careful - many sets are still full price. (...) In the Napa-Solano county area they were reduced Dec. 23rd. Fairfield Target had shelves bursting with LOM 7313 and 7314 (the mecha-esque sets), but by the very next day they were gone!
