On Thursday morning, on the way to work, I saw the Lego Imagination Tour
truck in Santa Monica. It is parked on the lower, beach level parking lot,
just north of the pier.
This is the $6.00 parking lot, and is most easily accessible by driving
south of Pacific Coast Highway from California Incline. Stay in the right
most lane and do not transition to the I-10 Santa Monica Freeway just
before the tunnel.
There is also parking on the pier, at the end of Colorado Avenue. When I
was there last night, the fee was $4.00, but rate may be different during
daylight hours or the weekend. This lot is accessible only from the above
the bluff, from Ocean Avenue. No busses or trucks allowed on the pier.
There are stairs at the end of the pier to take you down to the lower
parking level, where the truck is.
The truck looked like it was parked parallel to Pacific Coast Highway, and
was clearly visible when traveling southbound. The yellow truck also has a
white awning attached with the Lego logos clearly showing.
I may see some of you there on Saturday.
