Okay, Zonker. You asked for it(literally). What I did during summer vacation..err scratch that. Why I want to display? My answer is this: Personal pride, education and Inspiration. Around 5 or so my parents bought me a set of used Legos from a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Why we build? Why we display? Great thread. Zonker is right, it's important that you know WHY you want to do something so that you get the most out of it. TRAINS, TRAINS, TRAINS!!! Sorry - I just had to say that. I don't have a problem with having other displays, but that just isn't where much of my interest is.
