Re: 2 Lego Stores open today!

(...) Hi Frank - Most of the parts are basic, with a few special elements like trees, fences, and Creator flowers. The range will rotate over time. For mech parts, I suggest the Designer series. Where in DuPage are you? I'm in Wheaton. (...) LOL :-) (...) (21 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today -- Pick-A-Brick Inventory!

(...) Logically this means you should be able to fit about 826 1x2's in there, making the price about a penny each. Hmm... Are you taking orders? ;) ~Mike (21 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today -- Pick-A-Brick Inventory!

(...) I have successfully fit 137 2x4's into a large container by stacking them in successively larger discs with studs on the side. When doing this, there is a small amount of space around the sides that can hold plate or small, irregular pieces, (...)   Re: 2 Lego Stores open today -- Pick-A-Brick Inventory!

(...) Looks to me like a flat rate per container. $13 for the large, $7 for the small. Anybody know the average number of 2x4 bricks you can fit into one of the large containers? Thanks, ~Mike (21 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today -- Pick-A-Brick Inventory!

(...) In the new brand stores, its by volume. $6.95 for a small cup, $12.95 for the large. I don't have cup measurements (ounces) yet. -Tim (21 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today -- Pick-A-Brick Inventory!

(...) What is the cost for pick-a-bricks? I assume it is by the pound. Is this correct? Eric (21 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today!

Alright! Finally a lego store near me, and some lego fans that are also in my general area! I live in DuPage county, about 15 minutes from woodfield, so I will probably be making several stops at the store. The pick-brick-section only has you basic (...)
