Re: who needs a ride to GATS Jan 25/26 2003

(...) I live near Don Scott Airport, right on the border between Columbus and Dublin. I would very much like to set up a meet for AFOL's FOL's, but have never done this. Anyone want to help me out? Paul (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  FT: Uncle Julio's GC

Just a shot in the dark, but I have a couple of Uncle Julio's guest cards that I would like to trade with. This group looks to have died, but I though I would try anyway. Anybody interested? Paul (22 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.dfw)

  Tuttle Mall; KBToys & Kiosk

I was browsing through the Tuttle Mall (I am not sure why, but I had time to kill I guess). Here is what I found: Lego has a Kiosk on the lower level; first one I had seen but it may have been there for a while now. Looked exactly like the other (...)   Re: We're got a lego store! [Denver]

I was able to check out the LEGO store before I headed over to Jillians. All new sets, all at retail, some T-shirts and maybe some other non brick accessories :/ Well the mall is cool so I would come down to see the mall. (...) (22 years ago, 16-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

Re: We're getting a lego store! [Denver]

(...) Not really. They've got the same stuff that most toy stores can get, without even any train sets. The only really 'cool' thing is the selection of lego pens. It's alright if you're in the area anyway, but it's nothing to travel to Denver for. (...) (22 years ago, 16-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

Re: who needs a ride to GATS Jan 25/26 2003

Welcome to Columbus, Paul! I don't think I'll be able to make it GATS as much as I'd enjoy it, due to my schedule. However as has been tendered before, there's nothing saying we can't arrange a meet here in town at some point. With the holidays (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

Re: We're getting a lego store! [Denver]

Hi Aaron, I'm looking forward to your report. I'm in the Fort Collins area, and I'd like to get someone's opinion on whether or not it's worth making the trip. Thanks! -Joel (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

Re: We're getting a lego store! [Denver]

I got a sneak peak of the LEGO store yesterday, Nov 10 (four days before the mall opens). I got to eat at the "Chilis Too" restaurant as I was invited for a mock dinner. They were having the employees practice running the restaurant and I got to eat (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

  NGLTC Greenberg show pictures

The NGLTC had a great time at the Atlanta Greenberg Toy & Train show this past weekend. We had quite a turn out of fine Train MOCs from club members: Lewis showed off his new Shay #5: (URL) had his Big Boy (not sure the version, I've lost count :) (...)   SCLTC at Cal Stewart Show in Pasadena, California!

We've done another show! (And it's still happening!) On November 9-10, 2002, the Southern California LEGO Train Club displayed their mountain layout at the Cal Stewart show in Pasadena, California. (Wait a second... today's the 9th, so why am I (...) (22 years ago, 10-Nov-02, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.trains.org.scltc, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ca.la) !
