  MId-Sussex Midi-Fest Sunday 20 July 2003

I am organising a gathering on 20th July in East Grinstead. It will be held in a hall in the local leisure centre, where my wife works, and which I can get virtually f.o.c. It isn't that big, so we won't have room for a NBLTC or other large display, (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Duncan Titmarsh will be on BBC Radio 4 tomorrow morning

There's a more through writeup on the event at (URL) (Before anyone starts, I know I'm not a Brickish member yet). If this event persuades you to join, it'll have been worth it :-) Huw (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Duncan Titmarsh will be on BBC Radio 4 tomorrow morning

Just had a look and listen via the website, I was really impressed, well done to all involved. The programme and the site link should do wonders for Brickish membership and the UK AFOL scene as a whole. I'm intrigued as to how it came about; did (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Duncan Titmarsh will be on BBC Radio 4 tomorrow morning

I nearly jumped out of my skin - there I was listening to Today about some conflict in Liberia and on comes Duncan and starts talking about Lego. Truly bizarre. Congratulations Duncan - although you're media career can only go downhill now, I'm (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jun-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

NBLTC Train Display, 28/06/03, St Wilfrid's School Summer Fair

For the second year running we are providing a 'hands-on' train display at the Summer Fair. The event will be similar to last year in that children and braver adults will be given a chance to drive the trains in return for a nominal charge to raise (...)   Re: Duncan Titmarsh will be on BBC Radio 4 tomorrow morning

(...) The pictures are already up. Well done Duncan! And a direct link to the Brickish website ;-) (URL) a bit surreal reading about Duncan, the Queen of England, SARS and Iraq in the same news article. Mark (21 years ago, 10-Jun-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Duncan Titmarsh will be on BBC Radio 4 tomorrow morning

Duncan Titmarsh, UK AFOL and Brickish Association member, will be appearing on BBC Radio 4's Today program tomorrow morning, the 10th of June. He will be building a model of the Today studio and the presenters during the programme, which runs from (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.announce, lugnet.mediawatch)

Re: Report on the LEGO trains at Glenrothes

Thanks for the feedback on the train show. 1. The power adaptor is DC (I think) I got it for £1.99 from Netto's - the discount food retailer, but Argos have one 982/7253 page 75 at £5.99. They are essential for allowing children to run trains. 2. I (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)
