Re: That's not a tree, this is a tree...

(...) I wish they did too. How did you get so many? I remember the club magazine had an 'ideas' page one Christmas that suggested making a holly wreath from leaf pieces, which I though was ridiculous as no-one could have enough. (...) I saw that, (...) (22 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.town)

Those are magnificant! If you don't mind, I'm definetly going to be using some of those tree designs for my work-in-progress Starcraft diorama. :) (22 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.town)

Re: That's not a tree, this is a tree...

(...) Cool! Now that I've seen those, the minifig trees look MUCH smaller, but I've always noticed they were too small as well. (...) Thanks for sharing the pics :) (...) Hi. (...) Oh well! Matt C. (22 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.town)

Re: That's not a tree, this is a tree...

You go, girl. Having seen the big tree "in the flesh," I can honestly say that the photo doesn't do it justice. Excellent stuff, and an avenue that hasn't been explored very much. (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.town)

Re: That's not a tree, this is a tree...

(...) Very tasty, and a very original approarch to tree building also. Your vine MOC could also be seen as a modern low-pruned apple orchard (as I originaly did browsing the picture, before reading the full text of your post) It looks exactly like (...)   Re: That's not a tree, this is a tree...

(...) These are really nice! Good scale compared to mini-fig height. And you're absolutely correct, the LEGO trees are just too small. (...) Oh yea, and how about in different shades of green? <dreaming> Or even yellow and orange for Autumn colors? (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.town)

That's not a tree, this is a tree...

I have finally posted my first moc (real moc not LDraw) and am using my Brickshelf file for what is was intended, displaying the brick. For those who know me my first moc post being a collection of trees will really not surprise you, but Lego (...)   Re: LEGO PC

(...) computer has been around for quite a while. I can't remember who it was, or where to find his webpage, but I remember someone coming up with a desktop computer case that he called the "LEGO PC". He also made a laptop encased in LEGO, complete (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: LEGO PC (now also Google)

Slightly related subject... I was given a copy of an article about Google from the Readers Digest (April 2003, expect to read it in a doctors waiting room in about 5 years time :-). Larry Page (co-founder) built a working printer out of LEGO and (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  My classic space FOTD

Well, they say the early bird catches the worm.... Got a big box labelled attic lego this morning with a near mint 6970 and instructions in it! I've been searching for this for over 3 years now. It was mixed in with some much older lego, but each (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.space)
