The following was interesting in light of the discussions about disposal
of models at LLW

The NGLTC LEGO collection just got bigger, or maybe the truck just got
smaller. :)

Well OK maybe the truck didn't get smaller, but we did rescue some • fine LEGO
sculptures. Recently a set of LEGO sculptures from the LEGO • Imagination
Center in Orlando made their way to Georgia and were scheduled to be
destroyed. We here at the NGLTC couldn't let that happen so we were • lucky
enough to be able to arrange for a "pardon from the governor", and • plan the
sculpture's escape.

The NGLTC will be doing our best to restore the broken and dirty • pieces and
get the sculptures presentable for the public again. The plan is to • take one
or two of them along with us when we do train shows and such; we'll • find a
use for them. I couldn't stand the idea of them being destroyed.
