Re: Professional model making at LLW for £69!

(...) It's scary what one can miss when very busy at work! I could not be more up for it. Do you think the guys who came up with this know about Lugnet? Would they be sympathetic to us? If I could have my dream I would want to submit a draft plan (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Professional model making at LLW for £69!

(...) This is too weird - I started to measure up this _exact_ same project on saturday, and decided that at 40 1x16 technic beams long, even I haven't got enough parts. What's your interest in the bridge - purely technical, or closer ties? I was (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Professional model making at LLW for £69!

(...) I think I'm right in saying that the new Royal Victoria Dock Footbridge built (within the last 2 or 3 years) in London Docklands serving ExCel Exhibition Centre will also work in the same way - currently, you can take the stairs or a lift up (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Falkirk Wheel's Link with Lego (was Re: Newport Transporter Bridge)

(...) I was lucky enough to get a tour of the Falkirk Wheel site last year. I did take some pictures (Disclaimer : it was a very dull day & I ran out of film before I got to the tunnel under the Antoine wall and the double lock). The bottom of the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Professional model making at LLW for £69!

I suppose I should go and have a look at the bridge - seeing as I only live a few miles away. I had heard of it recently but didnt realise it was such an old structure. I'll have to see if I can find plans for it -- James Stacey ---...--- (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
