Huw,

You're definitely right! Caron and I were looking at the shop on Monday with
the intention of placing an order for Christmas. In fact, Caron was incensed
that 4721-4723 weren't available in the UK and was writing a note to TLC about
it, but her machine crashed before she could send it...

On a more serious note, I believe that there is a legal issue here. You entered
into a contract with TLC to supply the advertised goods - they shipped you
something of lesser value. I'm believe that comes under the auspices of the
Trades Description Act...

Was there any note accompanying the order explaining the change?

Cheers,
Kev

It went up sometime this evening (see message in lego.direct)

I'm just placing an order for the specially priced bundle  -- £179 for all • 8
sets, which is about £40 cheaper than buying them individually. The site's
mighty slow though! Perhaps everyone's doing the same thing...

I received them on Wednesday. When I ordered I am SURE it said the train set
was included and the saving was 40GBP, BUT when they arrived, there was no
train. Instead the 'girls' sets 4721-23 were included instead, so the saving
was just 27GBP. Perhaps Michael LeCount can corroborate this -- I don't
think I am going mad!

To be honest, the 'girls' sets are by far the best of the bunch. Fabulous
pieces in exotic colours, and loads of 'shiny pieces' (as my daughters call
the transparent parts).

I can recommend them wholeheartedly. The jury's still out on the others. The
train looks pretty lame anyway...

Huw
