I've never really thought of a link between Riko and Khonstam as far as the
name but yes they are the same company and it does kinda make sense. Our
Cardiff store fought long and hard to re-establish itself as just a model
kit and die cast store, (it got rid of all the girls toys and most of the
other crap as it happens) maintaining that's where the interest and profit
lay.

RiKo (Richard Khonstam (sp?) )???

IFAIK it's a completely different outfit. Stock type is completely
different - diecasts and model kits only, no general toys.

is Model Zone a different outfit or have Khontams (Beatties parent
company-if thats how you spell it) rebranded the shop in an attemt to • make
another go of it?

...and replaced by Model Zone

Bromley had two shop-fronts - one toys and one models. The model one • will
be
a fully fledged Model Zone, but it looks like the toy one will close.
Currently, everything is half marked price (Yay! £35 for a Pod • Race!!!),
but
they've blocked of the empty end of the shop...

Another one bites the dust.

Just Jono .oO
