    New Plates for old —Steve Lane
   Hi all Thanks to Tony Preistman's advice I have sufficent track links for my latest MOC. Every other link now needs to be shod with a black 1x4 plate. "Why don't you go and buy some then?"    (...) Sufficent interest! I've had one reply. Jason Briscoe informs me he has five, Now I'm very grateful for his efforts but my target is 130 old style plates. This is why I'm having another go.      Hi, I can have a look to my pieces, but I need to see what the plate look like. I do apologize, but this time my english is not good enough to understand your description and imagine the shape :-(( If you give me MLCAD reference, that's fine.    (...) My first post yeilded 5 plates, my second post Millions :-) (...) Thanks to a conversation with chris Dee yet another type has been identified. A 12 lug brick can have both rounded off tubes, or non rounded tubes. Rounded ones work non-rounded (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)
