> If anyone wants to buy a 9v train motor, set 5120, I can let you have one for
£10 as I have some spare. Email me, lecountm@yahoo.co.uk.
I mean set 5300, don't know why I put 5120.
Some nice limited edition sets I managed to get in Germany were a set of four
that go with the Tour de France and show the German Telecom team. Starting
with the smallest set first the sets are,
1196 One cyclist and his bike.
1197 A motor bike film crew + Team rider and bike.
1198 Bike repair and feeding station, 3 mini figs.
1199 Team car and winners post + team, 8 mini figs.
The four do make a very nice set especially if your into cycling. Does anyone
know if these sets are available anywhere else, in particular France?
Lego System Denmark did try to find out but couldn't help.
I have a couple of spares if anyone has any others.
Also available in Germany and Denmark was a Starwars Bucket 7159.
Also to answer an early discussion about Lego being expensive in the UK, not
when compared to Germany, Netherlands, Belgium where it works out almost
exactly the same. Denmark on the other hand works out at anything from 10-50%
more. It appears though that when these countries discount older sets they are
just as good as the UK, even on occasions matching such places Argos.
Michael.
