This has got to be that Japanese Cartoon (well, it originated from Japan
because of the 'Bambi' eyes and pretty faces of the cartoon characters,
typical European stereotypes if you know what I mean)
They were all dressed up in bird costumes and regularly went up to Space to
save the world, decency, thwart the villains, you know the kind of thing.
I cannot remember the name of the programme but it was imitated in some ways
by the much later Power-Rangers (burst into song at this point).
There again, I might be completely out of the window here, this was late 70s
or early 80s.
