Anyone notice that thetoyshop.com had another pricing glitch at the weekend
with lego sets (the only thing I looked at ) on offer for 1/10th of their
proper price?
Most of their special offer sets were listed at 1/10th the price. e.g. 8448
super car was at £8.00, mesa pod for £6.00.
Unfortunately they were all on back order when I tried.
Presume someone noticed earlier and bought all the stock?
Then today their website was off line - just a note saying normal service will
be resumed as soon as possible.
When the site came back the prices were correct, but interestingly things that
were on back order yesterday were now back in stock - at the correct price.
Did anyone order at the lower price?
Did you get any feedback from thetoyshop.com?
did you get a confirmation of your order?
They did this before and everyone forgave them
Wonder if they will this time.

| (...) I noticed this too, but did not order. Interestingly, after the last time I was told, by the staff, that the whole thing actually resulted in extra trade for them. The reasons for this is are clear. The cynic in me thinks that perhaps this (...) (25 years ago, 6-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
