My Local Dept store in Newbury - Camp Hopson has a 8448 at £119.99
Also a pack of 9V track is £14.99
I remeber paying £8 for a pack in a toymaster
I think Newbury beats your recorder Scott on the 8448

| I was in Jenner's today (very well known Edinburgh dept. store - if you've ever been shopping in Edinburgh you'll have been there). Normally there stuff is pound or so over the RRP (eg they have the X-wing still at £29.95 and the 4561 for a mighty (...) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
