I was in Jenner's today (very well known Edinburgh dept. store - if you've
ever been shopping in Edinburgh you'll have been there). Normally there
stuff is pound or so over the RRP (eg they have the X-wing still at £29.95
and the 4561 for a mighty £115). I browsed a little. I found the 8448 for • a
huge £109! Is this a record? Will anyone ever buy it? Is Jenner's the most
overpriced Lego store in the UK, or perhaps even Europe?

You are forgetting Hamleys, which is usually 50% over high-street prices for
small-to-mid sized sets. I am not sure what their 8448 price is, but I bet
its close to that.

(...) for (...) Yes. I've only been to their "duty free" shop in Heathrow. I was not impressed. Scott A (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
