Waiting for the TRU sale

Went to TRU Hayes for lunch, to determine what I had wanted
to buy when this sale comes 'round.
A warning 1st of all:TRU have raised the prices on some Lego!
So the savings will not be as great! (e.g. the 2 smallest
micro-Technic sets were 1.50 or 2, they are now 2.50!)
2 of the sets I have been eyeing up, waiting for a sale,
are now gone! (Some big yellow Technic thing with a scoop,
the other some minor system set).
One thing I did notice is that they are still selling 3041
Red Freestyle bucket for £20, while all Tesco's to which I
have been now sell this for £12! Get with the program!
There were no general reductions, though 6969 Insectoid set
is now 28.64, down from 35. They still have loads of the
6975 UFO saucer thingie for £15, though I think I will hold
out for greater than 62.5% off for that one.
I hope and pray that they reduce the ridiculously inflated
brick-only box prices. 25 quid for 4229, and only 848 bricks,
now makes it **TWICE AS MUCH AS** 1857!! And 3 times more
expensive than the purple bucket currently available State-
side. This set is another of those that have had a price
going upwards.
I had written down a large number of current Technic prices,
and a few, though not many, normal set prices. If their is
a current price in which anyone is interested to know, post
it here, and I will let you (and everyone else reading!) the
price!
