I guess I know the answer to this one, but....
I am visiting Weston Super Mare this weekend where there is a trader who I
know sells "1/2 price" lego. (i have posted a couple of messages regarding him
before)
He does put the retail up a bit first, but they are still cheap (its all legit
as far as I can tell, he buys them from a cash and carry and applies a small
markup)
e.g. my parents went last week and picked up a 8001 for £14, and a Slave 1 for
£10.
I have bought all the star wars sets from him at these types of prices over
the last year. He always tends to have star wars as it is popular.
If I just buy everything he has in the 2000 range, can I assume that there
will be willing takers at these prices at the next lego fest if I bring it
along?
He doesnt tend to have tons of the stuff, just 2 or 3 of each set. He doesnt
carry larger sets either
It might be raining too, in which case he wont be there, so cant promise
anything.
Just trying to get a sense of the demand
regards
lawrence

| Some of you emailed me direct I know but thought I would broadcast a reply. It was a disappointing haul this week I am afraid. Not cause he didnt have anything but cause someone beat me to it! I got there around 9.30am and he said that someone had (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
