Hiya
Beatties in Winchester had a load of new 2000 Lego in today .. some town
stuff, some Arctic stuff, some castle stuff and new Star Wars stuff!!! They
had Desert Skiff, Slave 1, Flash Speeder and A-Wing - I though the skiff
looked a bit poor without even any aliens on board. I bought an A-Wing
(£10.99 - is this average price?) - after building it, it looks a bit
stumpy - smaller than I would have expected - although I like it, I don't
think it's any better than the A-Wing that someone on RTL posted
instructions for, that can be built from the X-Wing set.
Oh yes - they also had the Gungan patrol set which seemed to be in a bit of
an oversized box since it seems to contain only 2 figures, 2 animals and a
few bricks. It was also £10.99 which seems a bit overpriced - what are other
shops charging?
