    UKLUG Prototype online —Simon Denscombe
I've got a working prototype of the website online. (URL) worry those frame colours aren't there to stay - it's to highlight where they are - that page is displaying 5 webpages at once. Feel free to dig holes in it, that's what it's there for. I (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) Cool stuff - I like the Logo! If you do the K of UK using those diagonal 'stepped' pieces, then it would be more buildable :) (...) Tsk tsk! If our Italian or US, or *any* other friends want to comment then they are welcome, their opinions (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) You are welcome to completely redesign the logo if you want - I tried the bricks you speak of first but it made the letter way too thin compared to the rest of the logo - it didn't look right. (...) I remembered to put the :-0 in this time. (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Thanks C60, but do we have to have 'tente' in the URL - after all, the stuff doesn't even _fit_ with LEGO... ;-) Phil in Yorkshire. ----- Original Message ----- From: Carbon 60 <carbon60@bigfoot.com> To: <lugnet.loc.uk@lugnet.com> Sent: Wednesday, (...)      (...) Well it is it's temporary home for now until I get around to registering www.uklug.org.uk TENTE has the same outer brick dimensions as LEGO you know. Any TENTE you want to get rid of send it my way. (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Looks very good. A couple of suggestions though. Firstly, I'd echo Larry's point about frames - but more than that, I can't see any reason why this page should use frames at all. Doesn't look like any of the frames will need separate scrollbars. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I liked it. I think it is a very good start. It need a "news" page, perhaps that should be the opening main window....
