Lego are obviously trying really hard to ensure that they get as few sales as possible this year by having all the adverts on Channel 5. At about 17.45 today I saw an advert for Lego Star Wars sets followed by an advert for Channel 5 (at least (...) (26 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Dear all, Was the Scotish leg of this event worth going to ?. The Sheffield one is in complete confusion - date changed to the 25th, Ottakars not existing in Sheffield (it's at something called The Mission Launch) and 18.00 - 19.00 admission by (...) (26 years ago, 15-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Back in late August/early September, they did not recognise it as a design flaw, but simply a quality control problem. My replacements were identical in design to those in the original set. I opened the wing doors on my super car today only to find that one air damper had shattered internally and would not operate. I inspected the other one and those on 8446 and 8447 and found they too were broken, but not to the point of not working. (...) (26 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.uk)
