  Lego shopping in London?

Hello! My wife and I are travelling to London & Edinburgh this week for a holiday. Whenever we travel, we like to check out the local toy stores for Lego -- looking for good prices, and good selection. What stores would you recommend in the London (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Another appeal: 7155

Okay, so the Falcon was a long shot. :) Never mind. This one is for myself. I really need a 7155 AAT to complete my Naboo battle diorama but I don't want to pay the inflated prices currently being asked for on Bricklink. Can anyone in the UKAFOL (...) (21 years ago, 31-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  7190? Anyone?

I know this is a long shot, but have any of you UK guys got a spare 7190 Milennium Falcon lying aroung that you'd be willing to part with for close to the original purchase price? I just promised a friend that I'd ask... Cheers, Paul. (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Apparently three of the 4 are available in LEGO Shop Milton Keynes. They were not in LEGO Shop Kingston when I was there on Saturday, however.   Flying through hyperspace ain't like dusting crops, boy

Hiya I have two quick questions ... First .. I've noticed that the new Star Wars mini sets (4488 - 4491) and - yes! - the AT-AT (4483) are now available on Shop@Home .. has anyone seen them in 'real' shops in the UK yet? Second .. I've been thinking (...) (21 years ago, 25-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Argos discount - clockwork NBA set

Argos are discounting stuff again. The only LEGO I could find is the wind-up NBA basketball challenge <set:3430>. It's half price at £4.99. Useful if you want a clockwork motor, and it's quite a challenging game too. Worth building once, anyway. (...) (21 years ago, 24-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: LLW during Royal Ascot?

(...) I find attendance at LLW is mostly down to weather forecasts and school holidays. Traffic may make it more difficult to get to from the M3 direction though. XP to loc.uk in case someone who lives closer can help more. Psi (21 years ago, 20-May-03, to lugnet.legoland.windsor, lugnet.loc.uk)
