(...) There were a load of these (including town minifig sets) in a 50% off bin at LLW last week. Get there by 23 December (sunday) as they'll shut down for 3 months. No green ninjas, unfortunately. We counted more staff than shoppers, and a fair (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Gamley's in West Quay, Southampton, have some Hogwarts' Castles left, and a load of Diagon Alley shops. Woolworths outside (I think - could have been another shop around there) had some Hagrid's Huts too. And I've seen a market trader in Gosport (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

FWIW: These newsletters were the forerunners to the LEGO Club Bricks and Pieces magazines that launched in 1979. There were only four issues produced running to 1977 (IIRC. Phil?) and they were sent out free of charge - not sure how you got on the (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)
