Well, I went to OG today and found out that 1999 technic is here including huge 8448. I checked the price for 8448 only but in OG at Great World City, it costs S$264.00. Other 1999 technic lines avaialable which I didn't check prices where: 8444 (...) (27 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.sg)

(...) I just went to Takashimaya at Orchard yestarday. Not only they had new technic for 1999 like 8444, but everything was on 20% off sale. Including mindstorms so I guess you can get it pretty cheap, at least for now. Hope this helps, Takashi (27 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.sg)
