I'm at work right now and can't check, but I seem to recall that the only window that had that annoying protruding bottom lip that interfered with bricks in front was the 1x6x3. I thought the (...) (...) They're the new ones, not the old ones. They don't have a projecting lip that juts out in front at the bottom, as did the entire old family except the 1x6x3 . If the 1x1 was revived a decision would need to be made whether to revive it exactly (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jun-02, to lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.general)
