Hi Todd & Giulio & all,
I'd adopt the same model the other groups did:
CHARTER/PURPOSE:
lugnet.org.it.itlug: ItLUG: Italian LEGO Users group
lugnet.org.it (group):
Italy-based user groups, clubs, and organizations for LEGO®
enthusiasts: group formation, founding, planning, announcements,
etc.; inter-group coordination and planning; general ideas,
thoughts, inspirations, insights, experiences, etc.
lugnet.org (group and hierarchy):
Regional user groups, clubs, and organizations for LEGO®
enthusiasts: group formation, founding, planning, announcements,
etc.; inter-group coordination and planning; general ideas,
thoughts, inspirations, insights, experiences, etc.
My personal view of practical usage of the groups:
lugnet.org.it.itlug: Everything about the official ItLUG activity, mainly
referred to event planning and reporting, jbox tracking, site update and
other very low noise/signal ratio info. Very useful for those who connect
from time to time so they don't need to look into tons of messages to find
the important ones.
lugnet.org.it:Not used until necessary, I mean until there isn't any other
Italian group, either theme or non theme-specific.
lugnet.loc.it: The group where most of the activities take place: set
reviews and comments, ideas, suggestions, enqueries, shopping, announcements
etc., including the very moderate Italian-to-Italian current buy-sell-trade
activitiy who I personally don't find disturbing at all. And including some
slightly off-topic messages :-)
My 2 studs :-)
