The section on Denmark appears to be more or less split up
in "amter" (counties?) and then in major cities. That's
fine, but you might want to fix the names.

Do you mean that there are misspellings or that the current structure has
mistakes?  Here below is a list of the way things are organized currently
from a text-data perspective:

URI               Newsgroup              Description
---------------   --------------------   --------------------------------
/loc/dk/          lugnet.loc.dk          Danmark

/loc/dk/rb/       -n/a-                  Ribe
/loc/dk/rb/bil/   lugnet.loc.dk.rb.bil   Billund

/loc/dk/kb/       -n/a-                  Københavns
/loc/dk/kb/kob/   lugnet.loc.dk.kb.kob   København

/loc/dk/ar/       -n/a-                  Århus
/loc/dk/ar/arh/   lugnet.loc.dk.ar.arh   Århus

/loc/dk/fy/       -n/a-                  Fyns
/loc/dk/fy/ode/   lugnet.loc.dk.fy.ode   Odense

/loc/dk/nj/       -n/a-                  Nordjyllands
/loc/dk/nj/alb/   lugnet.loc.dk.nj.alb   Ålborg

Now some specific follow-up questions:

- Nordjylland (Fredrikshavn, Ålborg?)

Where it currently says "Nordjyllands" for /loc/dk/nj/, should this
instead say "Nordjylland"?

Should Fredrikshavn be added as a new group lugnet.loc.dk.nj.fre?  I see
that Fredrikshavn is a good 50 km. from Ålborg and is also a port city with
major trade routes to Oslo and Göteborg.

- Vestjylland (Ribe)

Does this mean that the current /loc/dk/rb/ Ribe should be renamed to
/loc/dk/vj/ Vestjylland?

- Østjylland (Århus, Billund?)

Does this mean that the current /loc/dk/ar/ Århus should be renamed to
/loc/dk/oj/ Østjylland,

and that lugnet.loc.dk.ar.arh should be renamed to lugnet.loc.dk.oj.arh,

and that lugnet.loc.dk.rb.bil should be renamed to lugnet.loc.dk.oj.bil?

- Sønderjylland (Sønderborg, Esbjerg?)

Does this mean that there should be a new section /loc/dk/sj/ Sønderjylland
with cities lugnet.loc.dk.sj.soe Sønderborg and lugnet.loc.dk.sj.esb
Esbjerg?

- Fyn (Odense)

Does this mean that /loc/dk/fy/ is OK as-is, but that "Fyns" should be
listed instead as "Fyn"?

- Sjælland og øerne (København)

Does this mean that the current /loc/dk/kb/ Københavns should be renamed to
/loc/dk/so/,

and that lugnet.loc.dk.kb.kob København should be renamed to
lugnet.loc.dk.so.kob?

You could split Sjælland up in "Hovedstadsområdet" and the
rest of the island. This depends on whether you consider
population or travelling distance as the important measure.

Well, to some extenet, both -- for example, the state of Alaska in the U.S.
is super-super-huge, but it only has one group (lugnet.loc.us.ak) because
the population is extremely small.

(...) You appear to use the administrative divisions of Denmark - almost. If you want to continue to do that you should include all "amter" (there are 14 of them) and write the full names. The other option is to use "geographic" divisions of (...) (26 years ago, 31-Mar-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.loc.dk)
