I did understand you perfectly, but I think I can explain it beter in
English. I'm not an official speaker for the organisation, but I can pass on
what I've heard about the projects.

The main goal of the "large city" project is to stimulate people who
normalily would not contribute with a building project on their own very
fast. We hope to draw in the protential of this group by setting a certain
standard (the 32x32 size) that easely can be achieved with limited
recources. Only a part of this project will be layed out with a thight 32x32
grid. The more rural type buildings that are entered into this community
buiding challenge, will be in a more loose setting next to the hopefully
dense hart of the "large city". It's expected that in this area an overlap
or transition zone from the "large city" to the train layout is possible.
The rest of the train layout will need landscaping too, so there will be
plenty of room for instalations, large buildings or a complete landscape.
These wil be handled seperatly from the "large city", so I think it's best
to enlist the larger building projects for the layout with Erwin van
Grinsven. Most of my custom sets are larger than 32x32, so I go for this
area also. There will be much more room available as there was last year.

I hope so. I will inform the organisers that expectation is rising.

With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen.
