Anyone know where in southern Ontario I can get a train set from a retailer? Or if anyone has a set (mint with box and instructions or better) for a reasonable price (i.e. no rare sets), I don't really care which model although a freight set would (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on)

G'day Chris, Coming back to an old thread here... I finally made it up to the Shell at 12 Mile and Halstead. They had squat. They had a handfull of the small sets left, and nothing else. This isn't going to help you, but after griping to everyone in MichLUG at GATS, I was in Traverse City for the second half of the weekend and picked up three of the larger sets there (all were available). I hope you do get to come...Train events are very different from the robotics events...but like the video showed...there is a slight mixing of robots with trains...Train2 (I hope) will have even more of an integration.
