Turns out I had some feedback from much further away. I'm used to people taking pictures with their phones, but I hadn't thought about how connected most people are. I was talking to one mother who had been taking pictures. She looked down at her phone, then back at the layout, and said 'Oh, I hadn't seen those. My husband wants to know if those are the Occupy tents in front of City Hall?' I told here they were. She hadn't noticed the tents when she took the picture, but her husband, in Brazil at the time, had.
