Scott,
Send me some prices of some sets, and I will get you canadian prices... then
you can figure the exchange. It is a good bet that they will be much
cheaper with exchange. I know some stores up here give you 40%. The only
thing you might have to think about is duties and taxes in the US, but I
don't know anything about your customs regulations on bringing stuff back to
the states. I know that you (as a foreighner) can apply to get some of the
canadian taxes that you pay up here.
I offtened wondered about something like this... i am sure the Lego Group
can't anticipate dollar fluctuations when they set their retail prices.
LINC,
Ps. I have some American and Canadian S@H catalogs at home, I will send
you an email tonight with the two prices... keeping in mind that both will
be elevated because it is shop at home.

If I was going to Vancouver would I be able to find some great deals made even better by the exchange rate? Thanks (...) (26 years ago, 7-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.vic)
