I finally found a source for the blue tubs! (I won't be going to get any soon since I crashed my pickup) I bought my first last week at the Coquitliam TRU (On King Edward) I took the wrong exit off the Trans Canada and ended up lost in Port (...) We're pleased to announce that the Vancouver Lego Club will be taking part in "Trains 2000" on Nov 12th at the Cameron Recreation Centre in Burnaby, BC, Canada (9523 Cameron St) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We'll be exhibiting a 16' x 6' lego train (...) (...) Try Wal-Mart. I picked up my third tub tonight (in PEI) for less than $18 at Wal-Mart. I paid full price on the first and got the second at Zellers during a 15% off Lego + 10% extra discount. I'm back in Aussie land now...but about 3 weeks ago I was in Montreal....and I picked up one of those blue tubs in question....from a little toyshop on the main street opposite the Art museum...they had I think around 6 of them (...)
