Here's what I do, and I've always gotten 20% off the price. (Excluding already
discounted items)
I've done this for my search sub ($25) & my Giant Model Robot ($30) over a year
ago.
There were always multiple sets. All opened and gutted.
I put off the dippiest sales person from the floor I can find. Explain the opened
boxes and that I'm going to compare. I open all the boxes and build the contents of
one good set. The first time (Search sub) I was handed a 20% off note just for
doing that!
The second time, (Model Robot) I asked for it. Got it. SAme note.)
The last time (3038) It was already marked down.
I'm honest and don't take extras. So don't spoil it for the rest of us.
