Re: Want to get the Mania Magazine?

Yeah, I've probably bought 500+ sets in the last 2 years, and have never gotten a survey card :-/ (...) -- | Tom Stangl, Technical Support Netscape Communications Corp | Please do not associate my personal views with my employer (24 years ago, 19-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us, lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Want to get the Mania Magazine?

(...) Of course it's family and friends and they all get read... heh heh. What else do you do with 100's of the things... Also, as a strange note, I know of the little forms you can get in the boxes. That allow you to tell LEGO what you have and (...) (24 years ago, 19-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us, lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: TO BrikWars (Was: Re: Roll Call Time?)

(...) Let's see... The minifigs and related equipment are probably the most useful thing you've mentioned; unless you want to build some warlike vehicles, mecha, etc. In particular, I find myself short of pirates when I play the Pirate game (which (...)   Re: Want to get the Mania Magazine?

(...) Yes most sets now days do come with a free application. There was a time however when they only came in larger sets. Smaller sets had applications that you could send in with payment or a certain number of "collector points" or something like (...)   BRICKWARS

(...) I'm ready for any BRICKWARS game; Pirates, Space, CASTLE. And If we decide to enter into a war game around the period of the late Middle Ages, then my army of well over 350 men could be the opposition force for any group of challengers!!! P.S. (...)   Re: Want to get the Mania Magazine?

(...) Don't most new sets include applications? What always strikes me as funny is that they chrge $7 for additional memberships on the same application. Who would pay $7 for the crummy advertizing brochure otherwise known as Mania Magazine? (I get (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us, lugnet.loc.ca)

Want to get the Mania Magazine?

IF you are not a member of the LEGO Club, and therefore don't get the Mania Magazine, I have about a hundred entry blanks for free membership. Send me a SASE and I'll send you one.   TO BrikWars (Was: Re: Roll Call Time?)

(...) What sort of bits are useful for that? I'm hopefully coming over later this summer, so I could bring over *some* stuff, especially if there are some bits that aren't that common.   Re: Star Wars sculptures at Eaton Center Bay.

(...) No, the Bay is perrenially understaffed. You have to mug one & spirit them off to the Lego section, basically. BTW, I checked out the sculptures last night: There's a 6'6" (or so) Darth Vader (The cape is fabric, the rest is Lego); a battle (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.tor)

  Re: Roll Call Time?

(...) Rereading (URL) it does seem as if there is a pretty happy and healthy Torontonian LEGO community, and there are regular robotics-type events! Compare Toronto with some US states and cities (URL) - this group isn't that quiet in comparison (it (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.tor)

  Winnipeg - Kildonan TRU Walmart?

Howdy, this weekend I'm comin to WInnipeg, and was wondering. Does anyone out there live in Winnipeg, and been to the Kildonan(sp?) Walmart and Toys'r'us? They're the ones across from the mall. If you've been there, do they have any new stuff? How (...) (24 years ago, 17-May-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

20% off Lego at The Bay

Hi all, The subject says it all. Not 100% sure if it's throughout Canada. Starts this Monday May 15th. Strange how they have 15% off Lego occassionally, then have those scratch and save days where it's only 10% off toys, and now they have a 20% off! (...)
