  Re: 7046 in Canada

(...) Welcome to the new nature of retailing in Canada. I can't find the boat either in Southern Ontario (Niagara Falls). I haven't checked out the stock in New York State, but I assume that Walmart and Toys R Us carried it for the christmas season (...) (20 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.town)

  Re: 7046 in Canada

(...) A non-AFOL friend of mine gave me that set for my birthday in January. This is the Ottawa area, and I don't know which store he got it from, but my guess would be that if you can't find it, it's probably because it's such a small cheap set, (...)   7046 in Canada

I'm trying to find 7046 in the Vancouver Area. I've looked at TRU, Wal-Mart, Zellers, and none of them have the Fire Boat. I assume they came out to the US when the Rescue Base and Hovercraft came out. None of the Catalogues say its S@H only so why (...) (20 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.town)

Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

(...) before i break my creations, i bring them into work to show my students (i'm a teacher) so at least i get a chance to share the beauty of this hobby. they (aged 4-12) are in awe of the brick and i hope i incite them to build something, (...)   Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

(...) <snip> (...) Some more beautiful MOC's again. The Cliffhouse is beautiful. Makes me want to build something just to include a waterfall. That waterfall is awesome. I can see why you'd have to tear it down. That's a lot of window packs. And (...) (20 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.general)

My pics from MonLUG's 6th train show

Hello, Last weekend, MonLUG participated in its sixth train show. As always, it was a great success and our best layout ever, we were as popular as ever with visitors (around 9000 people). Here are my pics: (URL) (after moderation) There’s 3 pages (...) (...) Two words: WICKED!! Sweet aye-carubma, they've got colours I never knew existed! When did pink show up?? Light pukey green? (...) Presumably Gatineau is part of the Ottawa Region, casino and all. :) (...) Well, it doesn't seem the way it used to be, I agree.   Re: Dear LEGO...

(...) Meanwhile, there are no Lego stores (as far as I know) in the region west of Minnesota and north of California. That's what, a quarter of the US and half of Canada, roughly? So I agree with the Canadians that Canada should get a Lego store. . (...) (20 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Dear LEGO...
