Hi All,

This message is of most benefit to people living in Perth, Australia,
but I thought others in the LEGO community would be interested too.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Australia have organised a fundraiser for
8 year old Ben Hamilton who's wish is to visit Legoland in Denmark (one
that many of us have I'm sure!).

Ben has undergone 2 liver transplants so far (the first when he was only
a few months old)
and is currently in remission from Hodgekin's Lymphoma (a cancer of the
lymph glands).
Apparently he spends most of his free time building with LEGO.  (Me
too!)

Anyway, this weekend (13th and 14th) the 47th floor of Central Park
(Perth's tallest building) will be open to the public from 10am to
support Ben's trip.  Entry is $2 or $5 per family.
There will be a "Guess the number of bricks" contest with LEGO prizes,
balloons, face painting, magicians, singers, sausage sizzle, fun for the
whole family!  Bring a camera and binoculars to take in the view!

Volunteers are still needed, I'll be there Sunday helping out, so if
you're interested call Make-A-Wish on 9386 9485.

I'll keep you updated with Ben's quest for Legoland.

Best wishes,
Braith.
