Thanks for the info guys. A system of drawers is a good idea for a dedicated Lego room. I wanted a system that was semi-portable as well, hence the tackle boxes. I like to be able to take a collection of useful/fun pieces to my folks place and build (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

Hi all, I have approx 30,000 pieces from 250 sets. I store all the pieces sorted and sorted in plastic drawers that can be seen at (URL) The pictures where taken when I had approx 15000 pieces. I have added more drawers since then. This takes up all (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

Hi Braith, I bought two Rubbermaid brand 12 draw stackable storage packs. Each pack has a total of 96 compartments. I think they were about $36.00 each at K-Mart. Later I bought a smaller 6 draw version with 48 compartments and have stacked the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

Hi all, Very quiet here at the moment so I thought I'd start a local thread. Well, after moving house and dismantling all of my official Lego sets (took some pics but haven't been to a lab yet), I've decided to sort my pieces with efficient building (...)
