Brikwars at next Sydney Meet

I'm organising the Brikwars game for the next meet, the host has suggested
Castle. I'm just polling on whether it should be more roleplayingish (high
powered characters and cheap troops, possibly even in a dungeon somewhere) or
more battlefield recreation stuff (cavalry charges, massed pikes, marching and
countermarching). Also whether it should be fantasyish or realisticish (as real
as one can get with inch high smiley plastic figures).
I know enough about some people's taste, but wanted to check anyway.
Or I could just decide what I like and people can join in or not on the day.
It would be better to get an idea of who's interested tho, so I know how much
LEGO to bring.
