Heh.
That reminds me of a time when I nearly got a bloke to bid US$2500 for a
kids' toy! I was cruising ebay for rebreather auctions, when I found one
that was an accessory for the GI Joe action figure. It was a remarkably
detailed accessory, from all angles, and was selling for only $6, so I
posted it to the rebreather list, thinking that some might get a laugh
out of it. However...

Given that the "." is next to the "," on most keyboards, I'm surprised I
haven't made this error before. However, today, on ebay, I discovered
what it means to type "10,50" instead of "10.50". Yep, I nearly bid
"$10,500" for the item. I know I'd like to win it, but probably not at
that price. That's comma is dynamite!
